Photos of my own trips to affected rural areas to deliver aid to fire victims will at some point come up. Look for them in the Russian Misery Travel (c) section.

Dirt, dust, fumes. Incessant traffic. Gray snow. Leaves yellowing in June. Mass carbon monixide poisoning and heat strokes if the Summer 2010 situation repeats itself. De-icing chemicals that turn snow into slippery shoe-dissolving slush. Chronic headache, itchy throat, swallen face.

A heating plant right in the center of the city. Even Czar Putin himself has no choice but enjoy this view from his Kremlin office. You too, if you rent my apartment, will be looking and sometimes engulfed by this chlorine-smelling cloud. Thsi photos was taken from the apartment window in the winter of 2010-2011.
