Filatovskaya - If it is a true emergency rush the the Filatovskaya Hospital at Sadovo-Kudrinskaya 15. It is on the outside of the Garden Ring, north-west section, Metro Mayakovskaya, Barrikadnaya, Krasnopresnenskaya. Very near the USA Embassy.  I have taken a kid there myslef, and heard good recommendations about Filatovskaya from others. Thorough and efficient care. Be warned however that they will not release patients easily.  A finger bitten by a horse constitutes to them a siffucient reason to keep the kid locked for observation for a day or two. But they will provide medical treatment first and subject you to a full doze of Russian bureaucratic hell later, when real danger is over. Don’t go there with things trivial.

Emergency Center of the Scientific Research Institute of the Children’s Emergency Medicine and Traumatology - Bolshaya Polyanka 20, tel. 283-7721, Metro Polyanka, Tretyakovskaya, Novokuznetskaya.  No personal experience with this one however. Make a note of this place if your are renting an apartment from me as it is almost next door.
