Accommodation

The list of rooms and apartments, mostly direct from landlords or hosts is the core of the site. Click on the Accommodation label above and follow the fold-down menu for a few hand-picked offers of rooms and apartments in Moscow.

When I started this project 15 years ago offers were very few. Now, unlike in the 90s, I will make no attempt to cover it all. Instead I will feature what I know well, and make every effort to stick to the “budget” and “value” niche. Most offers are under my total control (my apartment), direct influence (Alexandra’s), or I know hosts quite well and can butt in if necessary (Dimitry with two rooms on Maroseyka, Alla with two rooms in the north end, or Snejana in Tushino and Botanical Gardens).

Those who stayed in a **particularly** good place run by a reliable and helpful host please tell me of what needs to be included in my list. Or better add this info as comments to this page. That’s why I moved to this new platform – to allow visitors to add what they want to to make the site more dynamic.

Or do it the old way: leave a note on my BOARD.

If you have any hints about other cities or towns, especially north from Moscow, please sent them to me too to be added to www.staritsa.info. In the foreseeable future I’ll be transferring this project to WordPress too, and anyone who wants to will be able to add info themselves.

If you are offering a room, an apartment, run a hostel that stands out, organize non-standard tours or offer anything else I’m likely to deem valuable and outstanding, proceed here >>
